North East Lincolnshire Council’s integrated front door team tracks contacts and referrals using digital whiteboards that share live data. The technology was initially introduced as a pilot in January 2025 but has since been rolled out across the team permanently, due to its success.
It means an end to time-consuming manual recording, freeing up hours for social workers to focus on practice and greater opportunities for the service to invest in the workforce.
